About the Album

“Solo Sailor” is an Album of original songs written, composed and arranged by David Downer in his home studio in Pennsylvania. The songs are reflections of growing up in Ireland in the ‘60s and ‘70s and are influenced by the music of that era. During the recording and engineering process David tried to capture some of the essence of the great Albums of that time period. All, instruments and vocals with the exception of drums were performed by David hence the title Solo Sailor.
